Help Us Raise Money for Fighting to be Heard
Ifor Williams Trailers has donated a one-off, fully-loaded pink HBX511 horsebox — and we need your help to make the raffle a huge success.
Fighting to be Heard is a volunteer-run breast cancer charity that provides grants to families facing the financial impact of a cancer diagnosis and campaigns to raise awareness of secondary breast cancer.
One of the charity’s co-founders, Lisa Jones, is living with secondary breast cancer. She’s the daughter of one of our production operatives, Peter Morris, who works at our Sandycroft site manufacturing After-Sales parts. When Jak Tyrer, our Production Manager at Sandycroft, heard about Lisa’s situation, he took action: in June, he completed the Abersoch Olympic Triathlon and, with support from colleagues and the company, raised £12,814 for the charity.
We have since built and donated a top-of-the-range HBX511 horsebox to the charity, fully loaded with every extra available, and finished in Firm Pink using our new Your Colour range. This model retails at over £13,000.
Fighting to be Heard is now raffling the horsebox online, with a target of raising £40,000 – funds that go directly to families dealing with the day-to-day cost of a cancer diagnosis: food, energy bills, and other essentials. According to the charity, 97.2% of people say their diagnosis has affected them financially.
It’s a cause that reaches almost every family, and we’re asking for your help.
