This raffle is about so much more than winning an incredible Ifor Williams Horsebox. It is an opportunity to change the lives of families living with Secondary Breast Cancer.
The horsebox has been incredibly and generously donated by the owners of Ifor Williams, in support of one of their valued employees, Peter Morris, whose daughter, Lisa Jones, is living with Secondary Breast Cancer. Lisa is also a Founder and Trustee of Fighting to be Heard, a charity dedicated to supporting people living with this incurable disease.
This remarkable act of kindness will help us continue delivering one of our most important programmes—our Winter Grants.
Every ticket purchased will provide direct financial support to people living with Secondary Breast Cancer who are struggling financially during the most difficult time of the year. These grants help families with essential everyday costs, including:
- Heating and energy bills
- Food and household essentials
- Mortgage or rent payments
- Travel to hospital appointments
- Children’s essentials
- Other urgent bills that relieve the financial pressures of living with an incurable diagnosis
The need has never been greater. Our patient survey found:
- 97% said their diagnosis has had a significant impact on their finances.
- 68% are no longer able to work because of their illness.
- 67% have had to give up employment following their diagnosis.
These are more than statistics—they are families facing impossible decisions while trying to make every precious day count.

Every part of this horsebox – the steel, the chassis, the galvanising, the GRP roof, right through to final assembly – was built in Wales, by people across every site. This donation isn’t just a company gesture; it’s the product of everyone’s work, and now it’s a chance for the wider Ifor Williams network – including all of you – to be part of something that will make a real difference to families affected by cancer.
